ESG Investment Pioneer Linda Giuliano Joins EcoAthletes Advisory Board

Linda Giuliano was an early leader in the world of responsible investments, driving global asset manager AllianceBernstein’senvironmental, social and governance (ESG) initiative for much of the past decade.

Now, Giuliano is bringing her analytical and management skills, as well as her passion for the climate change fight to EcoAthletes, joining the nonprofit’s advisory board as its ninth member Wednesday.

“Climate change is impacting our entire planet, and each one of us needs to take action,” Giuliano said. “Athletes are in a unique position to help accelerate the charge. [EcoAthletes founder] Lew Blaustein has been passionate about abating climate change since I met him nearly a decade ago. I am honored to join the advisory board to help EcoAthletes fulfill its mission.

“Linda Giuliano initiated AllianceBernstein’s groundbreaking climate risk and opportunity training in collaboration with Columbia University’s Earth Institute,” Blaustein noted. “We look forward to her strategic contributions to EcoAthletes’ #climatecomeback efforts.”
