Welcome to GreenSportsPod, the new occasional podcast series from GreenSportsBlog.
Our guest for Episode 2 is Dr. Maddy Orr, founder of Sport Ecology Group, an innovative nonprofit that distills the growing amount of sports-sustainability focused academic research so professionals working at the intersection of Green & Sports can make practical use of it.
She is also a sustainable-sports futurist of sorts, envisioning ways that sports might best deal with environmental crises like climate change before they become acute.
That is why we were happy to talk with Dr. Orr about what the world would like if sports dealt with climate change in the same way it is dealing with the coronavirus.
