Pragnya, India’s top-ranked triathlete, is working hard to qualify for the LA 2028 Olympics. If successful, she will be her country’s first ever Olympic triathlete.

Journey from a 2-year-old swimmer to the #1 triathlete in the most populous country in the world to founder of ‘Ek Beti, Ek Cycle’ (‘One Daughter, One Cycle’), a nonprofit that diverts old bicycles from landfills, where they would degrade and leech methane, a greenhouse gas that is 80 to 100 times as potent as CO2, instead giving them to girls in poor, rural areas. The bikes provides them with the freedom to continue their schooling after the primary grades.
